Unless you manually change the order, your searches will default to best match. When we order based on relevance we consider: 

Working experience degree to which someone's current and past experience match the target role
Skills degree to which the skills someone has match the target role
Matching probability proximity of the individual’s career path with that of the role as returned by the AI model
