Learn how Reejig keeps profiles up to date without employee input.
Reejig aggregates all available sources of data from across all our points of integration.
This creates dynamic profiles that are automatically kept up to date without needing any manual input from employees, hiring managers, or people teams. This creates enormous amounts of data for every organization we work with, giving them real-time skill insights for their workforce.
Here’s how we process and update that data:
Data manually entered or confirmed
Information that is added manually; like a new CV; newly listed skills; or new contact information is all updated automatically. That information will be visible in your Reejig profile straight away, but the AI can take a few hours to update (for example, when adding new skills updates your career path).
Data from internal systems
Data from your internal People Systems is added to the ecosystem instantly, depending on the integration method:
- If you have API connections integrated, it should take just a few minutes for data to transfer over and update.
- If you have an SFTP integration, your data will update at regular intervals (normally overnight).

Data from public internet sources
The internet is a big place, so we focus on finding and aggregating the latest data for profiles you’re interested in, so you don’t have to.
Reejig automatically checks public data for profiles that have recently:
- Been matched to an opportunity
- Submitted a new application
- Been shortlisted
- Been added to a talent pool
- Received or engaged with nudges
- Had other profile activity (eg. notes added, signals added, qualified for a role)
Reejig also check on profiles without activity every five months or so to make sure we don’t miss any potential talent matches for your workforce.
AI Updates
Our AI engine is always running in the background, but people, skills, and experiences are pretty complicated.
Our AI starts analyzing new information as soon as it hits the Reejig ecosystem, so if you’re searching for skills that you’ve just added, you’ll find them straight away. It can take a few hours or overnight for the AI to start predicting new things or learning from your changes, so don’t be surprised if you come back tomorrow to new career pathways, matched opportunities, or likely skills added to your profile.
